Amy Lawless is the author of Noctis Licentia (Black Maze Books, 2008), as well as the chapbook Elephants in Mourning ([sic] Press, 2012). She was named a 2011 New York Foundation for the Arts fellow. Some poems have most recently appeared in the Pen Poetry Series, H_NGM_N, and Zócalo Public Square. She teaches creative writing at Rutgers University and lives in Brooklyn.
